A few weeks ago, I bought the Maker a used iPod Shuffle, the one that looks kind of like a pack of Wrigley's Spearmint gum. This was partly because I knew he'd enjoy having his own (both of his brothers already have a Nano) and partly to keep him from always borrowing mine.
He does in fact love it, and spends a fair amount of time listening and singing along to his playlist, which I reproduce here for your perusal and commentary (songs are in order of most favorite to least favorite, though this order changes periodically):
Star Wars (Main Title) John Williams
Rabbit Run Eminem
8 Mile Eminem
Lose Yourself Eminem
Down In Flames Relient K
Jesus Freak dc Talk
May the Horse Be With You Relient K
Pressing On Relient K
We Will Rock You Warrant
Pinball Wizard Elton John
Touch Me The Doors
The Anthem Good Charlotte
Penny & Me Hanson
Get Out Of Denver Bob Seger
God Of Wonders Third Day
God of Wonders Chris Tomlin
Kung Fu Fighting Carl Douglas
Blue Moon The Marcels
Rock And Roll Led Zeppelin
Raised in Harlem Michael Tait/T-Bone/Donnie
Rock and Roll, Hoochie Koo Rick Derringer
Trashed Rob Rocker
Turn! Turn! Turn! The Byrds
I will readily admit that my musical tastes inflenced his selection of most of these songs, though I want to be perfectly clear that he found Kung Fu Fighting all on his own. And yes, the Eminem tunes are the PG-versions.

TRASHED??!?!??!!???!!???!??!?...*wheeze*...!?!?!??!?!?!
The Maker is a big Rob Rocker fan, as are most who have heard his stuff. Let me know if you want me to hook you up with a RR Greatest Hits compilation.
What a funky list! I like the mix.
I'm fine, thanks. I always preferred his work with that other band better.
Still, it's just so amusingly random admist all the other colours and shapes.
Please let me have this child for a while! There's no classical music on that list!!!!! I did, however, recognize the Star Wars one!
