I recently converted my website to WordPress. Previously, I had a somewhat standard website format, which had a link to a blogspot blog where I posted all my miscellaneous work-related musings. This worked okay, but I decided I wanted a format that had my blog posts integrated more closely with my other site content, so I changed over to a WordPress site.
The whole thing was relatively easy, the biggest hassle being choosing a WordPress theme I liked and getting all the site content and sidebar widgets set up. Transferring my earlier blog posts from blogger to WordPress was a snap (just like everyone said it would be) thanks to the WordPress Import tool; that part took all of 3 minutes.
